CALMING RESET RETREAT

For the woman who's been carrying too much for too long.

You're still showing up. Still getting things done. Still being the person everyone relies on.

But when did you last make space for you?

The Calming Reset Retreat

New date coming for spring 2027

The Calming Reset Retreat planned for October 2026 has been postponed.

We’re currently arranging a new date for spring 2027 and will share the details as soon as they are confirmed.

If you’d like to be among the first to hear when the new date is released, please register your interest below.

Does any of this feel familiar?

You're coping - but you're tired of always having to cope.

Your head rarely seems to switch off.

You're looking after everyone else while putting yourself further down the list.

You feel overwhelmed more easily than you used to.

And somewhere along the way, you've stopped feeling quite like yourself.

You don't need to wait until everything becomes too much before doing something for you.

Imagine leaving at the end of the day feeling...

Calmer.

Lighter.

Clearer.

More like yourself again.

And, importantly, with practical ways to manage stress and pressure differently when everyday life starts again.

Why isn't this simply a spa day?

More than a day away

A spa day can help you relax for a few hours.

We've designed The Calming Reset Retreat to help you understand how to create more calm when you return to real life.

You'll experience guided relaxation, learn practical techniques for managing stress and pressure, understand more about your responses to overwhelm, and leave knowing what you can do when life starts getting busy again.

Because the real value isn't only how you feel on 25th October.

It's what you take home with you.

You'll be in experienced hands

Lisa Picken

Lisa is a registered nutritional therapist who helps women understand what their bodies are trying to tell them when stress, exhaustion and midlife changes begin to take their toll. Having worked in high-pressure roles herself, she brings warmth, curiosity and practical support - without judgement or unrealistic expectations.

Paula Light

Paula knows first-hand what it feels like to carry responsibility, make difficult decisions and keep going when the pressure is relentless. Drawing on her leadership experience and therapeutic coaching skills, she helps women quieten the noise, see things differently and create changes that genuinely last.

Between us, we've spent years helping people manage pressure, wellbeing and change. We created The Calming Reset because we wanted to give women something many rarely give themselves: a whole day devoted to their own wellbeing - with practical support they can continue using afterwards.

FAQs

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely. We expect many women to arrive on their own, and you certainly won’t be the only one. The day has been designed to feel warm, welcoming and relaxed, with plenty of gentle opportunities to connect - without any awkward networking or pressure to mingle.

Is this group therapy?

No. The Calming Reset Retreat is a supportive wellbeing retreat, not group therapy. Lisa and Paula will guide you through a carefully planned day of reflection, relaxation and practical tools, but you will not be asked to take part in counselling or therapy within the group.

Will I have to talk about personal things?

Not at all. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and there will be no expectation to tell your story or discuss anything personal. This is your day, and you are welcome to participate quietly, reflect privately and simply take from it what you need.

Will anything I share be kept confidential?

We’re committed to creating a supportive, respectful space where every woman feels heard and valued. You’ll never be pressured to share anything personal, and we’ll ask everyone attending to respect the privacy of others by keeping anything shared within the group confidential.

What if I find it difficult to relax?

Then this day may be especially helpful for you. You don’t need to arrive already knowing how to switch off - and nobody will expect you to suddenly empty your mind or “just relax.” Everything will be gently guided, with no pressure to do anything perfectly.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that allows you to relax and move easily. We recommend bringing layers, as temperatures can vary throughout the day, together with comfortable footwear and a coat suitable for spending a little time outside in the beautiful surroundings.

Do I need to bring anything or prepare beforehand?

No preparation is needed - we want this to feel easy from the moment you book. Simply bring yourself, maybe a refillable water bottle and anything you personally need to feel comfortable during the day. We’ll provide everything required for the sessions, and we’ll send you a short practical information email before the retreat.

What's included in the £397?

Your place includes the full one-day retreat experience, guided sessions with Lisa and Paula, lunch and the practical tools and resources used throughout the day. You’ll leave with support you can continue using in everyday life - not simply a lovely day that ends when you go home. Travel, accommodation and the optional evening meal are not included in the retreat price.

What time does the retreat begin and finish?

The retreat will run from 9.30am until 5pm. After the retreat, there will also be an opportunity to stay and enjoy an informal group evening meal at The Tempus. This is completely optional and will be available at an additional cost, with further details shared nearer the time.

How does the £100 deposit and payment plan work?

A non-refundable £100 deposit secures your place, leaving a remaining balance of £297. Once you have booked, we will contact you with the available payment options so you can either pay the balance in full or spread the cost before the retreat.

What happens if I need to cancel?

We understand that unexpected things happen, so please contact us as soon as possible if you’re unable to attend. Your £100 deposit is non-refundable, and any refund or transfer of the remaining balance will depend on how much notice you give us and whether we can offer your place to someone else. Full details will be included in your booking terms.

Where exactly is Tempus, and is parking available?

The retreat is being held at The Tempus, Charlton Hall Estate, Chathill, Northumberland, NE67 5DZ. Free designated parking is available on site, with a nearby overflow car park if the main car park is full. Full arrival instructions will be sent to you before the retreat.

You spend so much time being there for everyone else.

This is one day to be there for you.

What if I feel I really need this...
but I'm not sure I can justify it?

If you’re used to holding everything together, you’ve probably become very good at justifying what everyone else needs - while questioning anything you need for yourself.

You don’t have to wait until you fall over before giving yourself permission to pause. If a day to step away, feel supported and leave with practical tools would make a difference to how you feel long after the retreat ends, that matters too.

This isn’t about escaping your life for a day. It’s about returning to it feeling calmer, clearer and better able to support yourself within it.
